I say the only thing you have to do is die.
What a morbid way to start a post, right? My point is you really don’t have to pay your taxes, but you may not like the consequences of not paying them. It’s a choice, so treat it like a choice.

It’s not happiness that brings us Gratitude. It’s Gratitude that brings us happiness.
It’s not just a catchy phrase, it is science! Yes, scientific studies have shown that having a regular gratitude practice can add years to your life, improve your immune system, improve your health, and will…well…bring you joy!
We often think joy is “when I get that promotion” or “when I finally graduate” or “when I find the partner of my dreams”, etc. The problem with this idea of joy is that it is impermanent. And when it changes your joy changes with it. However if you cultivate your joy from within, you always have it.
